Should I give back dummy?

A few months ago, my husband and I went to the beach and when we returned, we said, "The Beach" is took my son's pacifier (he is 22 months). Well, my husband just said that because it was my decision to withdraw this time. Now, it's hard to go to bed and sleep overnight. I punished him to take his little brother and I feel as if I returned, just erase all of this discipline. What should I do? Giving back or whatever?
