baby toys keys
My baby’s 4-month appt is Friday- what should I ask?

I’m a pretty low-key mom. I’ve babysat and nannied infants since I was twelve- I knew what I was getting in to. And if something comes up, I have a shelf of books to consult. When I went to my baby’s two-month check-up I felt like the doctor expected me to have a huge list of questions and I didn’t. Is there something I SHOULD be asking? (She nurses, sleeps, is growing an ounce a day some weeks, she reaches for toys, she smiles and laughs…).

Thanks!

It sounds like your baby is right where she is supposed to be. I felt the same way I ended up asking questions I already knew the answer to. Just because I felt like the doctor wanted me to ask questions. Funny thing is I didn’t agree with the answer the doctor gave me to the questions I asked. If you don’t have any questions don’t feel bad for not asking anything. I left feeling like I shouldn’t have asked anything. It just means you are a good mommy. Have fun at the appt!! *
